AVOIDING PLAGIARISM

As an enrolled student and member of the Universiti Malaya candidates are expected
to produce original academic work. Failure to acknowledge the work of others in their
work means the candidate is guilty of plagiarism. A candidate who is found to have

plagiarized his assignments or any written work that is part of the assessment in a
course or programme may be subjected to disciplinary action under the Universiti

Malaya .

Candidates are advised to check their work for originality by using the Turnitin
