steps toward breakthroughs, translation, and

Level 2, Block M commercialization. This laboratory uses the
principles of engineering and life sciences to
develop biomaterials for biomedical applications
with a specific emphasis on scaffolds for
orthopedic tissue engineering, drug delivery, dental
materials, and others. Research focus areas are
composites, nanomaterials, ceramics, polymers
and structural materials. The lab is divided into the
Synthesis Unit and Simple Assessment Tools Unit
under the care of experienced personnel. The
laboratory is facilitated with a few pieces of
equipment's, such as a Water Contact Angle, a
Reflectance Microscope, a Ceramic Calcination
Furnace, a Water Bath and Shaker.
