                                                                                    The  department  was  established
                                                                                    in  1958  and  is  one  of  the  oldest
                                                                                    departments  in  the  University  of
                                                                                    Malaya. Many graduates from this
                                                                                    Department  have  moved    on  to
                                                                                    become  successful  individuals
                                                                                    who  have  contributed  to  the
                                                                                    growth of the na on.

                                                                                    MED    currently   offers   two
                                                                                    undergraduate  courses,  Bachelor
