              Synopsis of Course Contents                       Force system and equilibrium.  Pin-jointed structures.
                                                                Properties of section. Beam analysis. Thin-walled pressure
                                                                vessels. Introduction to flexible cables, arches and
                                                                suspension bridges.  Plane kinetics of rigid bodies.
