                                               1.  Describe the history, roles and modes of urban mass transit
                                               2.  Identify the latest technology advancement in urban mass transit system
                                               3.  Identify queuing systems that are available for transit service
                                               4.  Plan schedules for transit services
                                               5.  Interpret procedures of urban mass transit planning and the operation and
                                                  management of urban mass transit systems.
                                               6.  Relate  the  energy  and  environmental  impacts  to  the  urban  mass  transit
                                                  system

             Synopsis of Course Contents       History and role of mass transit, modes of mass transit, planning and design of
                                               transit  networks,  management  and  operation  of  transit,  transit  and  urban
                                               development, energy and environment impacts and case studies.
