                                                     1.  Apply fundamentals of elementary solid mechanics theory in solving
                                                      various engineering problem related to axial loading, torsional
                                                      loading,bending and transverse loading
                                                   2.    Evaluate the type of stresses induced in members and its implication
                                                       in the design of structures
                                                   3.   Apply the relevant mechanics theories in determining deformation of-
                                                       members under the loading conditions
