           Synopsis of Course Contents           Density and porosity measurement. Sintering of ceramics. Microstructure of
                                                 steel and cast iron. Effect of heat treatment on microstructure. Microstruc-
                                                 ture  of  non-ferrous  alloy.  Study  of  the  characteristics  of  a  transistor.  Re-
                                                 cording the current-voltage characteristics of a solar battery as a function of
                                                 irradiance. Magnetic hysterics of a transformer core. Corrosion.
