Synopsis of Course Contents Power Electronics and Machine is the first electrical subject introduced to
Mechanical Engineering students. Main objective of this course is to intro-
duce students of Mechanical Engineering, to the various basic aspects of
Electrical Engineering which are related to setting up and operation of me-
chanical systems. Students will be equipped with the fundamental
knowledge of electrical machines and its operation. In detail, students are
introduced with common electrical machines such as direct current ma-
                                                   chines, induction machines and transformers.
