General Entry Requirements English Language Requirements

• Completed and passed at least 12 Effective from February 2019 intake,
years of education with the following applicants must achieve one of the
qualifications: qualifications listed below:
• National High School Certificate or (a IELTS Academic- band of 5.0 and above;
• A Level or or
• Grade 12 or b) TOEFL - PBT (score of 500), CBT (173),
• Diploma level
IBT (60) and above; or
• Advanced Subsidiary/ Predicted/ (c) MUET - Band of 3 and above; or
Provisional/ Mock/ Expected result are
not acceptable (d) PTE Academic - Score 41 and above in
Pearson Test of Academic English; or
• Obtained CGPA of 3.0 of 4.0
(e) A Level - Grade C and above in English
• Applicants may be required to undergo for General Certificate of Education,
an interview and/or test for certain University of Cambridge; or
programmes before being accepted by
the respective faculty. (f) O Level - Grade C and above in English
for General Certificate of Secondary
• Prospective students may check specific Education, University of Cambridge; or
requirements for each programme at
aasc.um.edu.my (g) Cambridge Assessment English: First
(FCE) - Grade C and above.
