       APPLICATION PROCEDURES



                                 STEP         Browse for the academic programmes
                                  1           according to your study interest at
                                              study.um.edu.my




                                                                STEP
                        Create an account via the application portal
                           at apply.um.edu.my, fill up the form and
                        upload the documents required accordingly.  2



                                  STEP        Remit a processing fee of RM 300 via
                                  3           FPX, Debit Card, Credit Card or Flywire for
                                              application submitted.




                           An acknowledgement email will be sent   STEP
                            out once the application submitted has

                                               been received.



                                  STEP        Check regularly the application result
                                 5            successful applicants will be able to view
                                              through the application portal, and only
                                              the offer letter.


          Documents Required
          1.  A passport-size photo with blue background.
          2. A passport copy of the first page only.
          3. An Academic Transcript & Certificate.
          4. An English Language Proficiency Certificate.
          5. Work evidence, research experience, sponsorship/scholarship letter,
               support letter or professional qualification (if applicable).


          Note:
          • An application submitted will not be processed without required documents and remittance of
            processing fee.
          • All payments shall not involve any transfer of cash and only made via payment platform mentioned.
          • Processing fee remitted is non-refundable.
          • The documents required must be certified by your previous school or respective embassy.
          • Official translation is required for documents that are not in English or Malay languages.


         Academic Intake                                Student Visa
         • There are two academic intakes that commence in  Apply via EMGS Visa Application System
           October (Semester I) and March (Semester II).
