5. GKR1005 Asas Jahitan Kursus ini mendedahkan pelajar Bahasa Melayu dan
(2 kredit / kepada teknik asas jahitan Bahasa Inggeris
credits) (Basic Sewing) menggunakan tangan dan mesin.
Pelajar juga diperkenalkan dengan Malay and English
jenis-jenis pakaian tradisional dan
moden. Melalui kursus ini, pelajar
dipupuk dengan minat terhadap seni
jahitan melalui aktiviti berpasukan.
Pengajaran dan pembelajaran akan
dilaksanakan dalam bentuk
pembelajaran berasaskan
pengalaman dan penyelesaian
masalah secara kolektif termasuk
bersama masyarakat. Di akhir kursus,
pelajar dapat memahami teknik
jahitan dan berkeupayaan menjadi
warganegara yang mempunyai minda
ingin tahu berasaskan minat.

This course exposes students to the
basic techniques of sewing by hand
and machine. Students are also
introduced to traditional and modern
clothing. Through this course,
students are nurtured with interest in
sewing art through team activities.
Teaching and learning will be carried
out in the form of learning based on
experience and problem solving
collectively including with the
community. At the end of the course,
students will be able to understand
the technique of stitching and capable
of becoming a citizen with an interest-
based interest mindset.
