Master of Mathematics Education with Information Communication and Technology

1. Type of Programme

The types of programmes offered under the Master of Mathematics Education with Information
Communication and Technology provision are as follows:

(1) Programme by Coursework and Research, that is, a programme of study combining lectures
and research leading to a dissertation.

(2) Programme by Research, that is, a programme of study wholly by research leading to a
Dissertation.

2. Entry Requirements

(1) Entry Qualifications

(a) Bachelor of Science with Education with a credit or its equivalent in mathematics
specialism;

or

(b) Bachelor‟s Degree with a mathematics foundation with a credit or equivalent; and

(i) a Postgraduate Diploma in Education;

or

(ii) Professional teaching qualification;

or

(iii) Relevant teaching experience in an educational institution recognised by
the Senate;

or

(c) Professional qualifications from a recognised professional body;

or

(d) other qualifications approved by the Senate from time to time
