Ijazah Doktor Falsafah secara Kursus dan Penyelidikan
Degree of Doctor of Philosophy by Coursework and Research

1. Jenis Program / Type of Programme
(1) Program ijazah Doktor Falsafah secara kursus dan penyelidikan adalah program pengajian yang dilaksanakan
gabungan perkuliahan dan penyelidikan melainkan kebenaran bertulis telah diperolehi terlebih dahulu, calon hendaklah
menjalankan penyelidikan setelah ia berjaya menyempurnakan semua perkuliahan yang ditetapkan dalam kurikulum
program pengajian yang membawa kepada penghasilan tesis.
Degree of Doctor of Philosophy by Coursework and Research, that is, a programme of study that is conducted by a combination of
lectures and research. Except where prior written approval has been obtained, the candidate shall conduct the research leading to a
thesis only after he or she has successfully completed all the prescribed lectures in the curriculum of the programme of study.

(2) Program ini ditawarkan mengikut tiga (3) bidang pengkhususan seperti berikut:
This programme is offered in three fields of specialization as follows:

(a) Kurikulum dan Pengajaran
Curriculum and Instruction

(b) Pengurusan dan Dasar Pendidikan
Education Management and Policy

(c) Kaunseling
Counselling

2. Syarat Kemasukan / Entry Requirement
(1) Kelayakan Masuk / Entry requirement

(a) Ijazah Sarjana yang diiktiraf;
Recognized Master’s degree

(b) Bukti latihan dan kebolehan yang mencukupi untuk menjalani pengajian dan penyelidikan yang dicadangkan.
Proof of adequate training and ability to undertake the course of study and research proposed.

(c) Sebagai tambahan, calon haruslah mengemukakan dua salinan prospektus sepanjang
1000 hingga 1500 patah perkataan yang menghuraikan bidang penyelidikan yang
dicadangkan.
In addition, the candidate should forward two copies of a proposal of 1000 to 1500 words detailing the field of research
proposed.

(2) Syarat Bahasa Inggeris / English Language Requirement.

Bagi calon antarabangsa yang mengikuti program dalam Bahasa Inggeris perlu mempunyai sekurang-kurangnya
IELTS (International English Language Testing Services) band enam (6) atau TOEFL (Test as a Foreign Language)
skor lima ratus dan lima puluh (550) jika ijazah pertama diperolehi dari universiti yang Bahasa Inggeris bukan bahasa
pengantaran;
For programme conducted in English, the candidate needs to have at least IELTS (International English Language Testing
Services) band six (6) or TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of five hundred and fifty (550) if the first degree
was obtained from a university where English was not the medium of instruction;
Atau / or

Lulus kursus Bahasa Inggeris yang ditetapkan oleh pihak universiti sebelum calon mendaftar.
Passed an English Language course as required by the university before registration
