Entry Requirements Career Prospects

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
Applicants for the programme should possess: graduates have a variety of career

▪ a bachelor’s and master’s degree in related opportunities. Anyone attaining this doctorate
disciplines as listed below with a minimum degree is prepared to work in executive
CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or its equivalent positions within organizations and run major
from a recognised university as approved by corporations and international companies.

Accounting Operation
The UM-DBA programme is designed for the
▪ a full-time working experience of not less individuals who want to focus their research on
than five (5) years in management level; and business and management that prepares them
for careers as researchers, teachers and
▪ pass the interview and assessment by scholars.
Faculty.

OR

• a bachelor’s and master’s degree from not
related disciplines with a minimum of CGPA
of 3.00 out of 4.00 may be considered if at
least One (1) of the following criteria is met;
and
o produce academic publications in
relevant fields; or
o a recipient of scholarship; or
o a government agency staff; or
o a graduate of the University of
Malaya; or
o a graduate from Top 100 universities
in the latest QS World University
Ranking.

• a full-time working experience of not less
than six (6) years in management level; and

• pass the interview and assessment by
Faculty.
