               PUBLICATIONS


               Papers presented at a national conference on the inter-relationships between population and

               development  jointly  organized  by  Population  Studies  Unit  (PSU)  and  National  Population
               and  Family  Development  Board  in  2015  were  and  compiled  in  a  book  titled  "Revisiting

               Population-Development Nexus: The Past in Its Future" The volume, comprising 10 chapters
               edited by Tey Nai Peng, Cheong Kee Cheok and Rajah Rasiah, was published by University

               of Malaya (UM) Press. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2016.


               PSU is in the process of writing a book on "Population Situation Analysis – Malaysia" which

               will be published by UM Press in 2017.


               PSU has provided funding support to 39 research projects (including two internships) since
               2015. From these projects, a total of ten (10) articles have been published in journals and

               conference proceedings in 2016, and five (5) articles have been accepted for publication in
               2017.  In addition, 13 articles are under review, of which five (5) have been re-submitted

               after making the corrections. The published and accepted articles are as follows:
