University Book Prize

This book prize is awarded to a student graduating with Distinction and obtaining a CGPA of

3.7 and above. The recipients for the Year of 2016 are as follows:

The Harcharan Singh Khera Memorial Prize

The Harcharan Singh Khera Memorial Prize was created in memory of Dr Harcharan

Singh Khera, a former academic staff of FEA. This prize is awarded to the best student in

the Final Examination of Bachelor of Economics in Monetary and Financial Economics
or Bachelor of Economics in International Economics. The recipient will be presented

with books worth RM200.00. The recipient for the Year of 2016 is Wong Kar Leng.

Tinggi Foundation; Bursary Award 2016

Tinggi Foundation awards seven (7) scholarships for students enrolled at the Faculty of

Economics and Administration, Faculty of Languages & Linguistics and Faculty of Arts

& Social Sciences, University of Malaya. This Bursary Award will start from the second
semester of the academic year. A Bursary Award worth RM2, 000.00 per semester begins

from second semester, year one to the final semester of study. The total amount of
Bursary Award is worth RM12, 000.00 covering for six (6) semesters. The two (2)

recipients are as follows:
