Congratulations and welcome to the University of Malaya Medical Programme.

Medical school challenges the best and brightest
minds to learn the science of medicine and public
health. I am proud to introduce you to the
outstanding medical program and activities that truly
make us one of the nation’s premier medical schools.

The Faculty of Medicine takes pride in its
commitment to educating the next generation of
clinicians and researchers for the nation. Our faculty
members are passionate professionals that
contribute significantly to medicine, education,
health care and research.
The University Malaya Medical Programme is centred
on nurturing fresh insights of our students through innovative educational
approaches that foster interdisciplinary discovery. We also believe that by
providing early and sustained clinical experience and essential communication
skills gives students the confidence and comfort level to excel in their duties
during the third and fourth years and beyond.
