             The Bachelor of Science (BSc) is generally a 7 - semesters programme with
             the exception of Bachelor of Actuarial Science and Bachelor of Science with
             Education  which  is  an  8  semesters  programme.  The  time  span  of  each
             programme  allows  undergraduates  to  sufficiently  plan  their  pathway
             without burdening themselves with too many credits in one semester. You
             are advised to seek counsel with any of the appointed members of the panel
             of academic advisors for your respective programmes of study whenever
             you are facing any difficulties and uncertainties regarding academic and
             other matters related to your studies at this Faculty. Undergraduates are
             also reminded to understand and obey the rules set by the university as
             stated  in  the  University  of  Malaya  (First  Degree  Studies)  Rules  &
             Regulations  2019  together  with  Undergraduate  Faculty  of  Science
             Handbook Academic Session 2020/2021.
