MASTER OF COMPUTER SCIENCE (APPLIED COMPUTING)
AIM OF THE PROGRAM
Vision
To become a center of excellence known internationally through research and education in Computer
Science and Information Technology.
Mission
To develop and disseminate knowledge through research, teaching and learning in Computer Science
and Information Technology in accordance with the expectations and aspirations of the community
and the country.
Objective
To produce competitive graduates in the field of research and equipped with high knowledge and
skills in Computer Science.
PROGRAMME LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of the Master of Computer Science (Applied Computing) programme, graduates will be
able to:

PLO1 Master the latest advanced concepts and theories in CLS1
computer science.
PLO2 Use problem solving skills and computer science CLS2
knowledge to solve real world problems.
PLO3 Apply appropriate knowledge, techniques, CLS3A
methodological skills and technology to create ICT
solutions to solve real world problems.
PLO4 Master the ability to apply mathematical skills in CLS3B
computer science.
PLO5 Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and be CLS3C
able to work in teams in implementing computer science
related projects.
PLO6 Demonstrate leadership consistent with professional CLS3D
codes and ethics in the discipline of computer science.
PLO7 Adopt technical and / or societal innovation through CLS4
computer science technology.

At the end of the program, graduates will be able to produce a dissertation as well.
