    On   December   18,   2020,   the   Faculty   was   honoured   by   a
    generous   donation   of   RM100,000   by   the   OMS   Foundation,
    meant   for   the   establishment   of   the   P.A.   Thiagarajan
    Endowment   Fund   at   the   Indian   Studies   Department.      The
    founder   of   the   OMS   Foundation,   OMS   Thiagarajan   himself,
       presented   the   cheque   which   was   received   by   the   Dean   of
    FASS.
