Potential Consequences of Inaction
Ignoring existing ineffective rehabilitation efforts will result in the loss of
viable coral fragments, and waste of valuable resources.
With continued coral reef decline, at least
25% of our marine life will lose their
habitats, and our country’s coastal fishing
industries as well as tourism economy will
face increasing losses.
