Sinopsis Kandungan Kursus / Synopsis of Course Content

Kursus ini membincangkan sejarah perkembangan pendidikan negara dan konsep asas falsafah
umum serta falsafah pendidikan. Kursus ini juga turut mengupas falsafah Pendidikan Barat, falsafah
pendidikan Timur dan falsafah pendidikan Islam serta kaitannya dengan Falsafah Pendidikan
Kebangsaan. Selain itu, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi falsafah dan amalan pendidikan di
Malaysia turut dijelaskan menerusi kursus ini.

This course discusses the history of the development of national education and the basic concepts
of general philosophy as well as the philosophy of education. This course also explores the
philosophy of Western Education, the philosophy of Eastern education and the philosophy of Islamic
education and its relation to the Philosophy of National Education. In addition, the factors that
influence the philosophy and practice of education in Malaysia are also explained through this course.
