Contributor Biographies

               Biographies in the order as authors’ articles appear in the journal

               Fumitaka  Furuoka  is  a  visiting  senior  research  fellow  at  Asia-Europe  Institute,  University  of  Malaya.  He
               obtained  Ph.D.  from  Universiti  Sains  Malaysia  in  2002.  His  research  interests  include  labor  economics  and
               international economics.

               Aida Idris is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business and Accountancy, and the Deputy Executive
               Director of Asia-Europe Institute, University of Malaya.  Before joining the world of academia, she had worked
               as an engineer and a consultant in several multinational firms in Malaysia.  Her research interests include SME
               development, entrepreneurship, cross-cultural management, and international education.

               Beatrice Lim is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy at Universiti Malaysia
               Sabah. Beatrice obtained her PhD in Economics from University of Wollongong in 2017. Her research interests
               include labor economics and gender studies.

               Rostika Petrus Boroh is a lecturer at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy at Universiti Malaysia
               Sabah. Rostika holds a Masters in Human Capital from Universiti Malaysia Sabah in 2009. Her research interests
               include labor economics and human capital.

               Bruno Mascitelli is Associate Professor in International Studies at Department of Social Sciences, Swinburne
               University of Technology. He is President of the European Studies Association of Australia (CESAA) and also
               School Council President of the  Victorian School of Languages. His research interests are European studies,
               Australian  Trade  policy,  Italian  migration,  International  Business,  European  Political  economy,  Italians  in
               Australia, Expatriate voting in the world.

               Amira Athira Azman is a Master's degree candidate in ASEAN Studies (IMAS) at the Asia Europe Institute,
               University of Malaya and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations, minoring in Economics and
               Chinese from the University of Queensland, Australia.  Her areas of interest include International relations theory,
               Asia-Europe relations, global governance and Development studies. She often finds herself a realist-constructivist
               when looking at the world politics because she believes that both theories can be reciprocal in ordaining the
               knowledge relating to social construction and claims about human nature.

               Sameer  Kumar  has  a  PhD  in  Social  Networking  and  currently  works  as  a  Senior  Lecturer  at  Asia-Europe
               Institute, University of Malaya. His current research and teaching interests are in the field of Social Networks,
               Business and History of Southeast Asia, with bi-regional focus involving Asia and Europe.

               Azirah  Hashim  is  Executive  Director  of  the  Asia-Europe  Institute  and  Professor  in  the  English  Language
               department at the University of Malaya. Her research interests are in Language Contact in Southeast Asia, ASEAN
               Higher Education and Academic and Professional Discourse.

               Aliyyah Nuha Faiqah Azman Firdaus is a Project Officer at the Asia-Europe Institute and Centre for ASEAN
               Regionalism University of Malaya. Her research interests include environmental communication, professional
               communication, sustainability reporting and language for specific purposes (LSP).

               Nataliya Berbyuk Lindström is a senior lecturer in Communication at the SCCIIL Interdisciplinary Research
               Center and Division of Communicaiton and Cognition at the University of Gothenburg. She studiesintercultural
               communication and communication in health care.

               Elisabeth Ahlsén is a professor of Neurolinguistics at the SCCIIL Interdisciplinary Research Center and Division
               of  Communicaiton  and  Cognition  at  the  University  of  Gothenburg.  She  studies  communication  disorders,
               pragmatics and multimodal communication.
