               MENTOR-MENTEE & ACADEMIC ADVISOR

Each student will be assigned a mentor.

The mentor is a lecturer who plays an important role in your life as an undergraduate student. The
mentor-mentee relationship is one of collaboration, guidance and support, with the mentor providing
advice, encouragement, and assistance to you as you navigate the challenges of university life. The
mentor works with you to identify your strengths and weaknesses, and to develop strategies for
success. Your mentor may also provide opportunities for you when you embark on research or other
academic activities, as you build your skills and confidence.
