2. Only eligible to win this once throughout study at the Universiti Malaya
3. Shown excellent performance and ability in MASUM/SUKIPT/IPT League and/or national Open Leagues
/ elite invitation sports competitions.
4. Possess a clean record without disciplinary action taken against him / her by any sports bodies or the
university.
5. Achieved high academic excellence of at least CGPA 2.5 in the latest exam except for postgraduate
students by research.

H. UNIVERSITY APPRECIATION AWARD

Awarded to staff, students as well as outsiders who have met the following criteria:
1. Contributed and helped improve the level of sports performance, whether in the form of expertise,
energy or sponsorship, to any university team which enabled the team or individual to achieve
outstanding results especially in the inter university competitions.

2. Has a good relationship with the Faculty of Sports & Exercise Science and team/individuals in order for
team/individuals to excel.

I. BEST COACH AWARD

This is awarded to the sports team coach including students who have contributed to the success in sports he
/ she represents. The winner of the award is chosen based on the following criteria:
1. Based on the excellent achievement of the team he / she coaches in the year of nomination either at
MASUM/SUKIPT/IPT leagues or any other high level invitational competitions for students.
2. Possess exemplary leadership attributes and a high sportsmanship spirit in helping the team to achieve
and maintain excellent results.

3. Possess a clean record without disciplinary action taken against him / her from any sports bodies or the
university.

4. Has excellent record in team achievement in previous years.

J. BEST MANAGER AWARD

Awarded to the sports team manager including staff/student or outsiders who has achieved success in the
sports he / she represents:

1. Based on the excellent achievement of the team he / she manages in the year of nomination either
MASUM/SUKIPT/IPT leagues or any other high level invitational competitions for students.
2. Possess a clean record without disciplinary action taken against him / her from any sports bodies or the
university.
3. Has excellent record in team achievement in previous years.

4. Possess exemplary team management skills.

K. GLORIOUS STUDENT TEAM AWARD

Awarded to the student teams that perform remarkable achievements and have met the following criteria:

1. Demonstrated excellent performances and high levels of abilities in MASUM / SUKIPT / IPT Leagues and
/ or other open leagues in the country / other participating sports tournaments.

2. Have excellent team achievement records in previous years.
