    GLT1002 : Mastering English I   English. It focuses on basic speaking and reading skills, with      IELTS Band 4.0

 1      an  emphasis  on  accuracy  in  grammar  and  on  vocabulary      TOEFL Paper – Based Test (437 – 473)
 building. Students will learn structural accuracy and language
 appropriateness by being exposed to the language in a variety      TOEFL Computer – Based Test (123 – 150)
    Offered  in Semester 1 & 2   of contexts.         TOEFL Internet – Based Test (41 – 52)


                                                       PTE (Academic) – (10 – 28)

    GLT1003: Mastering English II

    2 Credits   This course is designed for students with basic proficiency in
       English. Focus is on building speaking and reading competence   CEFR A2

 with an emphasis on accuracy in grammar and on vocabulary
 2      Offered Only in Semester 2   building. Students will develop structural accuracy, reasonable

 oral  fluency  and  language  appropriateness  by  practicing  the      Pass GLT1002 with grade C
    Prerequisite: Students must pass GLT1002   language in a variety of contexts.

    GLT1004: Mastering English III
    2 Credits   This  course  is  designed  for  students  with  a  developing  pre-

       intermediate proficiency level in English. Together with the use
