8. Change of Programme of Study

(1) A student who has registered for a programme of study that has been
offered is not allowed to change his programme of study.

(2) Notwithstanding anything stated in subrule (1) above, under certain
circumstances a student may apply to be considered for a change of
programme of study subject to the requirements prescribed under the
Regulations made under these Rules.

PART IV
PAYMENTS

9. Settling Payments

A student shall settle all fees and other payments in accordance with the rules
as prescribed by the University.

10. Right to Vary Fee Rates and Other Payments

The University has the absolute right to vary the prescribed fees and any other
payments without prior notice to a student.

11. Period for Settling Tuition Fees and Other Payments

A student shall settle all fees and other payments within the period prescribed
by the University.

12. Failure to Settle Fees and Other Payments

Failure by a student to settle all fees and other payments within the period
prescribed by the University may result in the student:

(1) being prevented from obtaining his examination results for the semester
concerned;

(2) being prevented from registering for courses for the following semester
and have his status as a University student be terminated; and/or

(3) being prevented from being conferred a Degree.

PART V
DURATION OF PROGRAMME OF STUDY

13. Duration of Programme of Study

A student must pursue and complete his programme of study within the
prescribed duration.
