Speed Control of a 3-Phase Induction Motor Using a Frequency
Converter
OBJECTIVES:
• Create a circuit to regulate the speed of a three-phase
induction motor through the utilization of a frequency
converter.
• Measure the output voltage and supply voltage of the load.
• Document the speed and torque characteristics of the motor
at different frequencies and examine the voltage & frequency
correlations.
• Calculate the power output and efficiency parameters
