Synopsis of Course Contents Product design composes of complementary activities and disciplines which
start with the identification of a market opportunity followed by the develop-
ment and evaluation of initial until the manufacturing plan. The aim of this
course is to equip the student with ability to define design problems, explore
and analyse solutions through relevant technique. The students also ex-
plore the structured way of completing the product development process.
Through this course student should be able to conduct product design pro-
jects in a systematic and structured manner.
