2. Justify the selection of the type of electrical machines and drives
for certain applications
Derive the equivalent circuit of an induction motor from the mo-
tor test data
Synopsis This course introduces the students to the basics of electrical ma-
chines and simple drives. It provides opportunities for students to
have hands on experience on design and construction of simple
machines.
