Synopsis of Course Contents This course aims to ensure students acquire the mathematical knowledge
and skills required for second and later years of their Mechanical Engineer-
ing course. It will include introduction to ODE, various types of equations
and its order and applications. PDE and its application. Laplace transforms
and its applications. Fourier series and transform as well as application of
Fourier series. Lastly, introduction to statistics and applications as well as
vector analysis.
