        ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

         Programmes by Clinical (Minimum qualification)                                            Postgraduate Programme
         Entry qualifications:
         a.   MBBS or BDS or an equivalent medical qualification approved by the Senate;  and
         b.  At least one year of post-full registration

         Other requirements:
         a.   Qualify for registration as a medical practitioner under the Medical Act 1971 (Act 50) of Malaysia; and
         b.  Meet the satisfaction of the Department responsible for the candidate’s programme of study in an
             Entrance Evaluation.
         c.  Only applicants with Master of Medical Science in Clinical Pathology are eligible to apply for MMA,
             MMB, MMC, MMD or MME.
         *     Offered for Malaysian applicants only.
         **   Offered for International applicants only.

         Note:
         •  Only applicants who possess a degree recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) as listed in the Second
           Schedule Medical Act 1971 are eligible to apply. Please check  the status of your qualification and for the Annual
           Practising Certificate (APC) at http://www.mmc.gov.my
         •  Multiple applications to different Clinical Master programmes and transfer for application between different
           programmes are not permitted.
         •  Places for International candidates in all available Clinical Masters programmes are generally oversubscribed.


         Doctoral Programmes by Coursework & Research (Minimum qualification)
         -  Doctor of Public Health (DrPH)
         a.   A Master of Public Health degree; or
         b.  A Bachelor of Medicine or Dentistry; and evidence of adequate training and ability to undertake the
             Degree programme of study.
         Doctoral Programmes by Research (Minimum qualifications)
         -  Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
         a.   Master’s degree; or
         b.  MBBS, BDS; and evidence of adequate training and ability to undertake the Degree programme of
             study.

         -  Doctor of Medicine (MD)
         a.   be a graduate of at least two years standing in medicine and surgery of the Universiti Malaya, or of
             another approved by the University; or
         b.  possess such other qualifications and experience.
