This course discussess the basic
concepts of peace and the
sociological theories related to peace
and humanity. This course also
exposes the students to the
responsibility of men towards the
environment and their responsibilities
towards the society. In the practical
aspect, this course provides
opportunity for fellows students to
organise activities/projects which are
related to peace and humanities
besides giving them opportunities to
work in groups to discuss and analyse
current issues which are related to
peace and humanities, both locally
and globally. All discussions and field
work, experiences will be presented
and evaluated based on the students
creavity, proffessionalism,
communication skills and their
leadership skills.

4. GIX 2001 PALAPES Tujuan kursus ini adalah untuk Bahasa Melayu
(3 kredit / Darat meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam
credits) Peringkat 2 sejarah pertahanan Malaysia. Kursus Malay
ini juga menerangkan sejarah
(Army ROTU penubuhan PALAPES (Pasukan
Level 2) Latihan Pegawai Simpanan), ke arah
melahirkan pegawai simpanan
Angkatan Tentera Malaysia dalam
kalangan mahasiswa yang
mempunyai semangat membantu
mempertahankan negara dalam masa
konflik. Kursus ini juga memberi
pengetahuan dan kemahiran
pertengahan ilmu ketenteraan Tentera
Darat dalam pengendalian senjata,
Ilmu Medan Perang (IMP), berkawad,
membaca peta, rejimental dan taktik.
