in order to resume their daily activities
and enhance their different abilities.
Rehabilitation and assistive
technology may come in many forms
in order to meet specific needs of
these special populations. These
technologies may range from very

solutions. Each has different practical
implications especially from the social
and economic aspects on the users
and the providers. Understanding the
different types of technology will be
beneficial for the society to grow
better consciousness about people
with disabilities and how we can
effectively help them using technology
thus creating a more inclusive society
where people with special needs can
live, work and integrate better with the
general community.
