Synopsis
This course aims to expose students to what is understood by philosophical activity. Philosophy
involves efforts to get the basic picture of the existence of meaning and use of the word, the concept behind the
words and the reasons and arguments for the issues involving the philosophy of education can be discussed
with the firm. Special emphasis will be given to the conceptual problems through linguistic analysis, analysis of
concepts and ordinary language philosophy. When this method is applied in education, it will involve analysis of
key concepts such as education, teaching, learning, indoktrinisasi, creativity and critical thinking.
Assesment Method : Continuous Assessment (Assignment, Test, Presentations): 60%,
Examination : 40%

Synopsis
This course aims to give students in-depth knowledge about a comprehensive definition of curriculum
and its relation with Islamic Education; enable them to analyze the curriculum theories and the history of Islamic
education curriculum; review the design and implementation of the school and university level curriculum of
Islamic education in Malaysia; identify issues related to the Islamic education curriculum; summarize related
studies on curriculum of Islamic education in and outside the country and ultimately train students to design a
curriculum for Islamic education in the future.
Assesment Method : Continuous Assessment ( Class forum, presentation, assignment) :70%,
Examination :30%
