PO6 Implement critical and creative thinking in decision making and problem solving related to
educational management theory and practice.
PO7 Manage academic information from various sources as the basis of lifelong learning.
PO8 Produce innovative ideas related to educational management knowledge.
6. Programme Structure
(1) The programme of studies for the Master of Educational Management is offered in two (2)
course modes namely by Coursework worth forty-five (45) credits and by Research. The
details are as follows:
(a) Programme by Coursework
(i) Two (2) Faculty Core Courses each worth three (3) credits and one (1)
more Faculty Core Course worth twelve (12) credits; and
(ii) Nine (9) Compulsory Courses in the Field of Secialization with each
course totaling three (3) credits
.
(b) Programme of study by Research
This programme is conducted entirely by research leading to the production of
dissertation. However, the candidate is required to take a course in introduction to
Research in Education (PXGZ6101).
(2) Details of the courses offered are as approved by the Senate from time to time on the
Faculty recommendation and are made known to candidates at the beginning of each
session.
(3) The list of courses approved by the Senate for the Master of Educational Management
programme by Coursework is as stated in List 1. Candidates shall be informed of the
required course combination for this programme before the initial registration
