3. LAPORAN KEMAJUAN

PROGRESS REPORT

Pada tiap sesi akademik, semua calon ijazah tinggi dikehendaki menyerahkan dua salinan laporan kemajuan
kepada penyelia mereka dengan mengisi borang yang disediakan oleh Fakulti. Calon yang gagal menyerahkan
laporan kemajuan dianggap kurang memuaskan dan pencalonan mereka akan dikaji semula oleh Jawatankuasa
Pengajian Ijazah Tinggi. Pencalonan seseorang akan ditamatkan jika kemajuannya tidak memuaskan.
In each academic session, all candidates are required to submit two copies of a progress report to their supervisor in a form
provided by the Faculty. Candidates who fail to submit a progress report are considered unsatisfactory and their candidature will be
reviewed by the Postgraduate Studies Committee. The candidature of a student will be terminated if progress is not satisfactory.

4. PENAMATAN PENCALONAN
TERMINATION OF CANDIDATURE

Penamatan pencalonan seseorang calon ijazah tinggi boleh berlaku atas sebab-sebab berikut:
Termination of candidature of any candidate could have happened for the following reasons:

(i) Penarikan Diri: Atas permohonan secara bertulis oleh calon untuk menarik diri.
Withdrawal: Upon application in writing by the candidate to withdraw.

(ii) Luput: Pencalonan dianggap luput apabila calon gagal mendaftarkan diri atau
Expires: membaharui pencalonan-nya pada permulaan tiap-tiap sesi akademik.
Nomination is considered expired when the candidate fails to register or renew his or her
candidature at the beginning of every academic session.

(iii) Penamatan: Pencalonan akan tamat jika calon gagal menyempurnakan pengajiannya
Termination: dalam tempoh maksimum yang ditetapkan.
Candidature will expire if the candidate fails to complete the study within the prescribed
maximum period.

Senat, atas perakuan Jawatankuasa Pengajian Ijazah Tinggi dan Fakulti,
boleh membenarkan perlanjutan pencalonan, dan menetapkan syarat baginya,
sekiranya permohonan untuk melanjutkan pencalonan dibuat secara bertulis
kepada Fakulti.
The Senate, on the recommendation of the Postgraduate Studies Committee and the
Faculty, may grant an extension of candidature, and set the conditions if the application
for extension of the candidature is made in writing to the Faculty.

(iv) Kemajuan: Jawatankuasa Pengajian Ijazah Tinggi di Fakulti boleh menamatkan pencalonan
Development: atas perakuan penyelia sekiranya kemajuan calon didapati tidak memuaskan.
The Postgraduate Studies Committee of the Faculty may terminate the candidature of the
student if the supervisor certifies that progress is not satisfactory.
