                                        This  course  is  designed  to  provide  an  overview  of  the
                                        quantitative  and  qualitative  methods  for  social  science
                                        research,  particularly  business  research.  Topics  covered
                                        include  business  research  process,  the  research  paradigm,
                      SYNOPSIS          theory building, ethical issues, problem definition, propositions
                                        and  hypotheses  development,  measurement  and  scaling
                                        concepts,  primary  and  secondary  data,  sampling  design,
                                        questionnaire  design,  interviews,  observation,  experimental
                                        research, case studies and grounded theory.
