l!'!/an Sri Dato' Muhammad Ali Hashim graduated with a Bachelor of
Economics (Hons) degree in 1969. He participated in the Senior
Executive Programme of Stanford University, USA. He was conferred
the Honorary Doctor of Management by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia
in 2000. He first joined Johor Corporation (JCorp) in 1980 as Deputy
General Manager and appointed as its Chief Executive in January
1982 and has held the position since.

His charismatic personality, entrepreneurial verve and v1s10nary
leadership has built JCorp into a leading Malaysian conglomerate
involved in several business sectors with some of them listed on
Bursa Malaysia like Kulim (Malaysia) Berhad, QSR Brands Bhd, KFC Holdings Bhd, Sindora Bhd,
KPJ Healthcare Berhad and Johor Land Berhad. Tan Sri is the President of Pasir Gudang Local
Authority (PGLA), the single most important agency responsible for Pasir Gudang's development
into one of Malaysia's most vibrant industrial townships. Under his leadership, JCorp has won
many awards, including the prestigious Inaugural Prime Minister's Quality Awards for Public
Sector in 1990. He was named Director of the Year in 1995 by the Malaysian Institute of
Directors for his commitment towards quality, entrepreneurial effort and professionalism.

Tan Sri Muhammad Ali is the author of the book entitled 'Membujur Lalu' and "Bisnes Satu
Cabang Jihad". In 2005, he was named Property CEO of the Year by FIABCI-Malaysia. He was
conferred the national Ma al Hijrah Appreciation Award by the Yang Dipertuan Agong. on 20th
January 2007.

e,,Jir. Muhammad Ibrahim graduated with a Bachelor of Economics
(Hons) degree in Accounting in 1983. He holds a postgraduate degree
from Harvard University. He is an Assistant Governor of Bank Negara
Malaysia (BNM). He has been with BNM since 1984 and has served in
the areas of finance, banking supervision and regulation, strategic
planning, insurance and offshore banking. He was previously the
Managing Director of Danamodal Nasional Bhd. He is a council member
of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a senior associate
of the Institute of Bankers Malaysia. He was appointed to the Board
of Securities Commission in 2004.
