COURSE TITLE QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH METHODS
COURSE CODE AA078001
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
1. Propose suitable quantitative research methods.
LEARNING 2. Integrate literature from relevant research materials.
OUTCOMES 3. Propose questions, objectives, and hypotheses of study that
correspond to the field of quantitative research.
4. Design a research based on the quantitative method.
This course introduces the various paradigms in doing
quantitative research. Topics include theory building, ethical
issues, problem definition and hypotheses development.
SYNOPSIS
Research design that includes measurement and scaling
concepts, secondary and primary data, sampling technique, and
questionnaire will also be covered in this course.
COURSE TITLE DISSERTATION
COURSE CODE AA078002
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
1. Propose studies in accordance with ethical principles
2. Design analytical, qualitative/quantitative techniques to solve

OUTCOMES research problems.
3. Explain implications of research findings for business
practice.
4. Write a dissertation in clear and coherent manner.
This course introduces students to accounting research by
providing an opportunity to conduct research in their area of
SYNOPSIS concentration. The dissertation should demonstrate students’
ability to carry accounting research as well as to report their
findings accurately and coherently.
