At the end of the course, students will be able to:

This course exposes students to dependence and
interdependence statistical technique. Among the topics covered
in this course include: data preparation; frequency analysis and
cross-tabulation analysis; multiple regression analysis, t-tests;
SYNOPSIS analysis of variance; MANOVA; reliability and validity
assessments; factor analysis; cluster analysis; discriminant
analysis; and structural equation modelling. This course will also
guide student on the use of statistical software to analyse and
interpret the data

analyses
LEARNING
OUTCOMES 2. Discriminate various qualitative data analyses methods
3. Design appropriate qualitative data analyses to explain or
predict a phenomenon
4. Write and report qualitative research findings coherently
This course exposes students to various techniques in analysing
qualitative data. In this course, the students will also be guided
on how to use computer software such as NVivo to perform
SYNOPSIS qualitative data analysis. The students will also know how to

ensure validity and reliability of qualitative data. At the end of the
course, the students will be exposed to effective writing method
for qualitative research findings.
