                   Course Learning             At the end of the course, students are able to:
                   Outcomes
                                               (1)  Explain the basic concepts and theories in international
                                                    finance and open-economy macroeconomics.
                                               (2)  Evaluate the issues in international finance.
                                               (3)  Specify  the  issues  in  international  finance  by  using
                                                    relevant theories.


                   Synopsis of Course          This course discuss concepts and theories in several topics
                   Contents                    such as balance of payment, foreign exchange market and
                                               risks,  exchange  rate  determination,  price  and  income
                                               adjustment  mechanisms  with  flexible  and  fixed  exchange
                                               rate,  open  macroeconomics  theories  and  policies  and
                                               international monetary systems.

                   Assessment Weightage        Continuous Assessment: 50%
                                               Final Examination:  50%
