Course Learning At the end of this course, students are able to:

Synopsis of Course This course provides broad coverage of environmental
Contents economics for Master-level students. The course covers
market failure, the economics of pollution control, market-
based instruments, environmental cost-benefit analysis,
environmental valuation, the environment and the economy,
global environmental problems, and other topics. Students
will apply economic approaches to analyse policy options to
better manage the environment at both the local and global
levels.
