16. TIB4001 : Latihan Industri / Industrial Training
10 kredit/credits

Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelajar latihan on-the-job serta peluang untuk mengamalkan
apa yang telah dipelajari daripada kursus-kursus di dalam suasana kerja yang sebenar. Program ini
mendedahkan pelajar kepada sosio-budaya dan persekitaran profesional di tempat kerja serta
membolehkan mereka mengembangkan lagi ilmu dan kemahiran supaya kadar kebolehpasaran mereka
dapat dipertingkatkan. Pelajar boleh ditempatkan di syarikat-syarikat swasta, perbadanan-perbadanan
kerajaan, NGO ataupun jabatan-jabatan mahupun unit-unit dalam universiti bagi tempoh sepanjang 20
minggu. Mereka akan diselia secara bersama oleh penasihat akademik universiti dan penyelia di tempat
kerja. Pelajar akan diberikan tugas-tugas tertentu sepanjang tempoh ini. Pelajar juga dijangka untuk
menyempurnakan dan membentangkan satu laporan berdasarkan kerja mereka.

The aim of this programme is to provide students with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to put
into practice what they have learnt in their courses in a real work setting. The programme exposes
students to the socio-cultural and professional environment of the workplace, and allows them to further
develop knowledge and skills, thus improving their employability rate. Students can be attached to private
companies, government organisations, NGOs or different departments or units at the university for a
period of 20 weeks. They will be co-supervised by supervisors at the university and the workplace.
Students will be assigned particular job tasks during this period. Students will also be expected to
complete and present a report based on their job attachment.

Prasyarat/ Prerequisite: Telah menyempurnakan sekurang-kurangnya 80% kursus-kursus lain
sepertimana yang ditetapkan oleh program ijazah ini / Have completed at least 80% of other courses as
required by the degree programme
