                                       MID 3015: Community Health Nursing I

             Learning Outcomes:

             At the end of the course students are able to:


               1.  Apply the concepts, elements and nursing roles in primary care and community health
                   care environmental health. (C3)
               2.  Apply the knowledge of immunization, health promotion, health education and home
                   visiting activities at community level. (C3)
                3.  Show the skills in maternal and child health care and risk management at community
                    level. (P1)

             Course Synopsis:

             This course consists of concepts, elements and nursing roles in primary care, family and
             community health care focusing in maternal and child health care. It also includes concepts on
             environmental health, health promotion, health education, immunization, and home visiting.
