               Introduction  to  faunal  diversity  in  Malaysia;  Concept  of
               biological diversity  and  related  terms;  Introduction  to
               selected  Malaysian  Fauna:  distribution,  ecological  and
               economic  significance,  conservation  status,  as  natural
               resource  in  relation  to  man.  Some  common  research
               techniques  will  be taught  and  practised  during field  work
