INTERNATIONAL NEWS

Universiti Malaya also welcomes exchange students
either for the duration of one semester or up to a
maximum of one academic year through the Inbound Inbound program
Mobility Program. The objective of the program is to 129
stimulate interactions between the exchange and our students
students, in the hope to broaden their perspectives and
    learn different cultures.
This year, the current state of Covid-19 pandemic Long-term inbound
has unfortunately curtailed the participation of students in 90
the Mobility Programs. Many programs were cancelled or program students
halted halfway through due to travel restrictions and other
concerns by both the host universities as well as the
students. Only a total of 4 students went on long-term
outbound to Italy and Australia, while 7 students went on 39 Short-term inbound
short-term outbound to Japan, UEA and Indonesia. The program students
Faculty was able to receive 13 short-term inbound
students from Tokyo University of Science earlier in the
     year.

“… Started the journey with only a group of people but came back with
additional knowledge, cultures, experiences, and new friends. This
program also gave us the chance to visit a few great places. P.S: Fresh
       air was a bonus!”
