As the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Universiti
Malaya, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our esteemed institution.
Since our founding in 1959, the Faculty has upheld a proud tradition
of academic excellence, forward-thinking research, and active
societal engagement. We are dedicated to cultivating intellectual
growth and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations across a broad
range of disciplines within the arts, humanities, and social sciences.

Our commitment is to provide an environment where both students
and faculty can thrive. We offer rigorous academic programs that
not only emphasize theoretical knowledge but also focus on real-
world applicability. This is achieved through our strong partnerships
