Outcomes
Significant changes in children’s oral health behaviours in the
community, better oral health status, and quality of life
The Teacher’s Oral Health Education Booklet will be endorsed
by the preschool curriculum section of the Ministry of Education to be
included in all preschools throughout Malaysia.
The Parents’ Oral Health Infographics will be absorbed into the
Oral Healthcare Service as part of the routine materials used by dental
nurses to educate parents of young children.
Policy change: The new dental programme will replace the existing
oral healthcare programme for preschools in Malaysia.
