1) Program Standard Accounting: 2nd Edition (2024)
The Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) has received feedback from
stakeholders regarding enhancements to the Program Standard: Accounting
(2024). These enhancements are intended to offer concise direction to Higher
Education Providers (HEP), Panels of Assessors, and MQA officers regarding the
evaluation process for Provisional Accreditation and Full Accreditation of the
respective program.
The updated program standard is available for access and download via the MQA

2) The Selection of Evaluation Panel Members by Higher
Education Providers with Self-Accreditation Status for
Evaluation of Provisional Accreditation, Full Accreditation
and Program Compliance (Reaccreditation) (20 June 2024)
The Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) has established these regulations to
ensure that accreditation assessments conducted by Higher Education Providers
with Self-accredited status are carried out fairly, transparently, and in alignment
with the intended objectives.
The regulations detail the composition and qualifications of the evaluation panel
members, specifying the minimum number of external panel members required
and the appointment of the panel chairman. For Provisional Accreditation and
Full Accreditation assessments, at least two external panel members are
required, while one external member is necessary for accreditation compliance
(reaccreditation) assessments.
These regulations are effective as of June 20, 2024, according to MQA's official
letter. The document is available for download on the MQA Portal
